Precision Cultivation. Rapid Cycles. Scalable Commercial Returns.

Project Objective

To establish a scientifically managed, year-round mushroom cultivation facility leveraging controlled-environment farming techniques. The initiative is designed to generate sustainable income, enable self-employment, optimize agricultural waste utilization, and enhance farmer profitability—aligned with horticulture and agri-based subsidy frameworks.

Capacity & Infrastructure

  • Total Growing Area: 22,000 sq. ft.
  • Facility Type: Indoor, controlled cultivation unit designed for high-efficiency production

Technology & Farm Management

  • Controlled-environment systems with precise temperature and humidity regulation
  • Use of scientifically prepared compost and certified high-quality spawn
  • Hygienic growing chambers with structured ventilation and sanitation protocols
  • Continuous monitoring of environmental parameters to maximize yield and consistency
  • Technical support and training through Horticulture Department and Krushi Vigyan Kendra (KVK)

Production & Revenue Potential

  • Short crop cycle of 30–45 days, enabling multiple harvest cycles annually
  • Frequent harvesting ensures faster cash flow and stable revenue streams
  • Strong and expanding demand from hotels, retail chains, supermarkets, and food processors
  • High-value crop with strong scalability for commercial expansion

Employment Generation

  • Direct self-employment through cultivation operations
  • Additional workforce requirement (1–2 personnel) during peak production, harvesting, and packaging cycles
  • Skill development in controlled-environment agriculture and post-harvest management

Expected Impact

  • High productivity with optimized output from limited indoor space
  • Efficient recycling of agricultural waste as compost substrate
  • Production of nutritious, high-protein food products
  • Promotion of modern, sustainable agri-entrepreneurship
  • Contribution to rural income diversification and economic development
